Dubai Fashion Week Recap
From Rizman Ruzaini’s opening grandeur to FADTalents’ rising energy and a finale of global collaborations, Dubai Fashion Week affirmed its place among the world’s style capitals. Dubai Fashion Week spanned six days of resilience, craft, and spectacle, where backstage urgency often matched the drama of the runway.
Conversations with designers revealed not only collections but also visions of Dubai’s global identity. Rizman Ruzaini opened with opulence — velvets, embroidery, and architectural silhouettes designed to feel like an anthem for both the brand and the city.
Heba Jasmi followed with refinement, framing fashion as storytelling that balances beauty with identity. Krésha Bajaj closed Day One with couture charged with intimacy — her embroidery a language of love heritage, and memory. On Day Five, FADTalents | FAD Institute showcased emerging designers whose confidence and experimentation made the showcase a crowd favorite, proving that Dubai nurtures future talent as much as spectacle. The finale brought international energy. Les Benjamins introduced South American vibrancy, while Emergency Room Beirut x Timberland reimagined upholstery and blanket traditions.
Victor Weinsanto previewed his Paris collection, calling it a cosmopolitan in cocktail form — witty and bold. Lili Blanc closed with sharp black suits, underscoring tailoring’s enduring power. By week’s end, the message was clear: Dubai is not simply joining fashion’s conversation — it is shaping it.
